The second of the two pieces created to honour Endometriosis Action Month of March, “BEYOND THESE WALLS” is a direct representation of the new knowledge that has surfaced in recent times about this full-body disease: endometriosis lesions has been found in major organs of the body, such as: the heart, brain, lungs, kidneys, uterus, liver, bladder, and bowels. Created with the mineral combination of sunstone, fire quartz, garnet, and Burmese jade, a distinct interweaving pattern was used to posit this information: each Burmese jade representative of a major organ of the body, with the sunstone, fire quartz, and garnet a nod to the lesions and tissues that exist and these organs. At the centre of either end of the bracelet is a handpicked coral jasper barrel charm (a continuity from “THE BODY’S WALTZ” bracelet) and a flower agate butterfly charm chosen for its similarity in shape to the uterus. BEYOND THESE WALLS is a stand for endowarriors and a call for equality in medical research and knowledge within women’s health—crossing over to this year’s International Women’s Day #AccelerateAction campaign.

Sunstone, garnet, Burmese jade, fire quartz, coral jasper, and flower agate.

A portion of the profit proceeds from the sale of this bracelet will be donated to Endometriosis UK, the largest endometriosis-focused charity supporting those affected by endometriosis through community-engagement and policy change, and the provision of free resources and information.
